If you attended Mass on Sunday, May 18, you played an important role in the lives of these children. They received the Sacrament of Communion for the first time in their lives. We thank all of the families, friends, and Parish community who witnessed this significant milestone. Let us pray the Sacrament of Communion strengthens their faith and brings them closer to God. Our Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #2605, Sisters of Pauline, will host a Hygiene Drive the month of July. Products will be donated to the Aransas Pass Highschool Life Skills classroom. Click here to find out more information and for the new, unused product list the class requested.
We will operate our Food Bank on Friday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. If you are in need of food, or if you know someone who is need of food, please stop by. The Food Bank distribution center is located in the building at the rear of the Church, facing Wilson Street. Please follow the instructions provided by our volunteers.
From Jesus’ Passion and Resurrection, to His Ascension into heaven, we now approach the end of the Easter season with the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, Mary and others. We celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost this coming Sunday, June 8. Please, join us for Mass this weekend. It is beautiful time reflect on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our First Saturday Mass will be celebrated June 7 at 8:00 a.m. After Mass, we will pray the Rosary. Weather permitting, we'll gather for the Rosary in the field across from the Church on Rife Street. All are welcome!
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered again Friday, June 6, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The confessional room is located in the Church, to the left of the altar
Novena Remembrance Masses honoring all fathers will begin Saturday, June 14. If you would like to make an offering to remember a father, grandfather, or someone who has filled this important role for you or others (living or deceased), envelopes are provided at every Mass prior to the start of the Novena. You may also drop off an offering at the Parish Office.

All volunteers and staff with St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church must receive Safe Environment Training. We will offer training for new volunteers and staff or for those needing to renew their certification on Wednesday, May 28. The class is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the Vesting Room. The Crowning of Mary is a cherished tradition in the Catholic Church where believers honor the Virgin Mary by placing a crown of flowers on her head and flowers around her feet. We will pray the Rosary, conduct a Crowning of Mary procession for families and children, and serve light refreshments at the conclusion of our 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, May 3.

Our Catholic Daughters of the Americas #2605, Sisters of Pauline will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 20, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Make sure the kiddos bring their baskets to mass so Father can bless them. All children are welcome.
